Kristin Flanary, Marketing Director, Wife & Mother, and SCA Rescuer (-aka- Lady Glaucomflecken), spoke to Avive about the night her young husband, Will Flanary, suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in his sleep. Kristin was unexpectedly called upon to provide 10 minutes of CPR, ultimately saving his life. Kristin describes how the 911 dispatcher recognized that Will was in SCA, and provided her with CPR instructions over the phone. She describes that night, how her family has coped, and some of the survivorship issues that young survivors face.
